CLARENDON BOWLING CLUB | LAWN BOWLS
As a builder, Glen built the Clarendon Bowls Club in the 1960s. Since then, he’s held most committee positions, including President. A life member, Glen is always the first to volunteer. He’s been the Night Owls Competition cook for many years and is, of course, an avid Coopers drinker (Pale Ale). A thorough gentleman, Glen sadly lost his wife and best mate, Shirley, last year.

Definitely a legend – is the heart and soul of Clarendon. If I had a dollar for every Coopers he has drank I would be a millionaire.

What a great bloke – even when he’s grumpy. And always willing to help out which he did week after week during the last ladies pennant season (2010/11) – he played lead in my team all season and we ended up winning a pennant. Didn’t that put a smile on his face!! Good luck Glen.
