Well known by everyone in the Spencer Gulf, Brian “Tigger” Donnon’s football record screams “LEGEND”. Here’s just a sample of his remarkable career. A record 449 B grade, 1 A grade and 3 combined games. 6 times premiership player (1 as captain), 101 senior umpiring games. Junior promotion member for 18 years and life member of the S.G.L , P.P.F.L , Ports and Proprietary football clubs . He has umpired juniors from 1990-2004 (350+ games) and was the Lions Football Club team manager for 10 years as well as a trainer and a runner. A winner full of merit I’m sure you will agree.
Congratulations Brian (Buff) on your wonderful career and longetivity. I noticed that in your write up you were branded a B grade player – however you have surpassed most A graders with your determination and love of football across the board and will be remembered as such.
